Request for Qualifications and Scope of Work
for the Yucca Valley Wastewater/Sewer Project
Public Information Program

Notice is hereby given that the General Manager of the Hi-Desert Water District is requesting qualifications for professional consulting services to design and conduct a public education scope of work related to the Wastewater Project Public Information Program. The District seeks a consultant with experience conducting public information efforts related to forming special assessment districts for large public infrastructure projects. Experience with wastewater and water projects is preferred. Details can be picked up at the District office at 55439 29 Palms Hwy Yucca Valley CA 92284 or downloaded at www.hdwd.com.

Submissions must be received by 5:00 p.m. on February 21, 2012. Submissions can be mailed to Hi-Desert Water District, Attention: Jennifer Cusack, 55439 29 Palms Hwy Yucca Valley, California 92284 or to emailed to jenniferc@hdwd.com.

Request for Bids Well 20W

Notice is hereby given that the General Manager of the Hi-Desert Water District will receive sealed bids for the Well 20W Equipping Project. The specifications can be picked up at the District office at 55439 29 Palms Hwy Yucca Valley CA 92284 starting January 25, 2012, 8:00 a.m-5:00p.m.

The fee for plans and specifications is $50.00. An additional fee of $15.00 is required if plan and specifications are to be mailed. For an electronic copy go to www.hdwd.com.

A MANDATORY Pre-Bid meeting is scheduled for February 16, 2012 at 10:00 am at the Hi-Desert Water District office.

Sealed bids must be received by 2:00 p.m., February 29, 2012 at which time they will be opened. Bids can be mailed or delivered to Hi-Desert Water District at 55439 29 Palms Hwy Yucca Valley, California 92284.

Be it further noticed that the Hi-Desert Water District through the General Manager may accept or reject any or all bids. Questions should be directed to Martha Ostrander or Mike Hayward at 760-228-6286 or 760 228-6274.

Contractor/subcontractors shall assist the District in compliance with requirements imposed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency ("EPA") in connection with the grant of funding for work under the Contract.
