Be prepared for an emergency! 

1. Store at least one (1) gallon of water per person, per day for at least 3 days (3 gallons per person or more).  Be sure to store your water in a cool place out of the sun.

2. Have an evacuation and communication plan to reach your family. 

3. Know how to shut-off your gas and water lines and have the tools next to the valves.

4. Keep on hand canned foods, medication and other non-perishable items.

5. Keep the gas tank in your vehicle more than half-full at all times.

6. Rotate your supplies of and water every six months.
