State Water Project Provides High Quality Surface Water
Tuesday, September 29, 2009

Yucca Valley – Water quality is important to everyone. That is why the Hi-Desert Water District conducts regular water quality testing to insure that it is safe.  Samples are taken by water quality professionals employed by the District and certified by the State of California. HDWD employees recently took samples at Site 3, the recharge pond at Pioneertown Road and Sunnyslope. The samples were analyzed by a State certified lab which used a comprehensive method to measure hundreds of constituents in the water. Test results, in compliance with Title 22, revealed water imported through the State Water Project is high quality surface water.
