Yucca Mesa Pipeline Replacement Project

 

Project Location:  The proposed project is located in the community of Yucca Mesa, in unincorporated San Bernardino County, California.  The proposed project includes the replacement of water pipeline along the following alignments: Aberdeen Drive between Sage Avenue and Warren Vista Avenue; Sage Avenue between Aberdeen Drive and Mesa Drive; Condalia Avenue between Aberdeen Drive and Campanula Street; Valley Vista Avenue between Aberdeen Drive and Campanula Street; Lucerne Vista Avenue between Aberdeen Drive and Campanula Street; Warren Vista Avenue between Aberdeen Drive and Campanula Street; and, Campanula Street between Sage Avenue and Warren Vista Avenue.  Specifically, the proposed project would be located within Section 12, T1N R5E, San Bernardino Baseline and Meridian, as depicted in the USGS – Yucca Valley North Quadrangle, 7.5 Minute Series topographic maps. 

 

Project Description:  The proposed project is the replacement of approximately five miles of 8-inch water pipeline.  The project includes the replacement of the following pipeline alignments:

 

·         Approximately 5,438 feet along Aberdeen Drive between Sage Avenue and Warren Vista Avenue;

·         Approximately 5,280 feet along Sage Avenue between Aberdeen Drive and Mesa Drive;

·         Approximately 2,666 feet along Condalia Avenue between Aberdeen Drive and Campanula Street;

·         Approximately 2,660 feet along Valley Vista Avenue between Aberdeen Drive and Campanula Street;

·         Approximately 2,655 feet along Lucerne Vista Avenue between Aberdeen Drive and Campanula Street;

·         Approximately 2,648 feet along Warren Vista Avenue between Aberdeen Drive and Campanula Street; and,

·         Approximately 5,438 feet along Campanula Street between Sage Avenue and Warren Vista Avenue.

 

Total length of pipeline proposed for installation is 26,785 lineal feet or about 27,000 feet (or about 5.1 miles of pipeline).

 

Cost: ~$600,000
