Hi-Desert Water District offers a robust education program to further students' understanding of water and wastewater issues in our service area. We provide a variety of grade-appropriate curriculum and tours, participate in educational events and supply materials to teachers of all grade levels.

We encourage teachers to look into the EnviroBus Buck Transportation Grant Program through the Mojave Environmental Education Consortium (MEEC) to apply for field trip transportation grants.
Annual Water Education Festival at La Contenta Middle School
Each May, Hi-Desert Water District partners with Mojave Water Agency, Bighorn-Desert View Water Agency and Joshua Basin Water District to provide interactive water and wastewater educational activities to all 8th graders at La Contenta Middle School at the Annual Water Education Festival.
