Hi-Desert Water District imports water from the State Water Project through the Morongo Basin Pipeline to recharge the groundwater in Yucca Valley. 

Ten-Year Vision of Water Management

The Board of Directors adopted an Urban Water Management Plan documenting the current and future water demands and supply needs.  

Mojave Water Agency serves as the regional State Water Contractor and has developed a similar document for the larger area including other water districts in the Morongo Basin and the Victor Valley area in an Integrated Regional Water Management Plan.
